Whites City RV Park and Campground is located a few miles from the Carlsbad Caverns. It is a no-frills campground with a great location. The park is the closest option for camping near the Caverns.
The park offers both full hook-up sites and tent sites. There are restrooms with showers and laundry facilities available.
Whites City is also home to a convenience store, gift shop, post office and restaurant.
Since the Jucy doesn't need RV hook-ups, we opted to stay in the tent camping area. With the chilly January nighttime temperatures, there weren't many others in tents. The RV area was about 50% occupied.
While there are some poor reviews of this campground out there, we thought it was adequate for a two-night stay while visiting the Carlsbad Caverns. The convenient location made it easy to take multiple trips to the caverns in one day.
